Your child’s weekly learning plan is designed to help them learn and build knowledge in each topic before they practice answering questions.
When your child clicks onto a new topic or recap island in their weekly learning plan, they’ll see flashcards, helpsheets and videos designed to build their knowledge. When your child clicks start island, they’ll be given eight practice questions to answer and apply their knowledge.
Can my child see learning resources for a topic they’re practising again before they answer questions?
Yes. If your child chooses to have another go at practising the same new topic island or recap island in their weekly learning plan, clicking learn will allow them to review the flashcards, helpsheets and videos again to consolidate their knowledge.
How can my child learn about a topic I've assigned for them in an extra practice?
If you’ve set an extra practice for your child, they can use the helpsheets and videos on the Track page to deepen their understanding of the topics they’ll be practising before answering questions.
