The CAT4 (Cognitive Abilities Test), created by GL Assessment, is used by schools to understand a child’s current learning ability and future academic potential. It assesses four main reasoning skills and is often used for:

Which CAT4 level should my child take?
There are 10 CAT4 levels, each designed for a specific age group. The levels available on Atom mirror the content, format, and structure of the real CAT4 exam.

If your child is preparing for an 11+ entrance exam, we recommend working with Level C and Level D, as these are the most commonly used for 11+ CAT4 assessments.
