Here's a short video on the differences between Atom Home and Atom School:
We offer two sides to the Atom Learning platform: Atom Home and Atom School. Atom School is our free school platform. Atom Home is our independent home learning platform.
Atom Home gives your child unlimited access to teacher-written questions, helpsheets and videos. These are all in line with the Key Stage 2 Curriculum and the start of the Key Stage 3 Curriculum. As part of our Exam Preparation packages, we also offer mock tests. All content on Atom Home is different to that on Atom School, but it covers the same syllabus.
Atom Home creates a tailored learning plan for your child as they work through each subject. The learning plan adapts to your child's ability so that they are always challenged. The learning plan is underpinned with Atom's adaptive algorithm, meaning your child is always being challenged where appropriate and given extra questions in any difficult topics. You can track your child's progress from the Track page in the performance section. You will be able to identify and target your child's areas for improvement, to build their confidence and bridge any learning gaps.
Atom School only gives your child access to short pieces of work to complete when the teacher sets them. It is a resource for the teacher in the classroom with the option to set short pieces of focused homework. It is not designed to be a revision resource/supplementary learning resource outside of school.
