This year, we made the decision to streamline what we offer in our English, Maths, and Science, and Exam Prep packages.
Starting Tuesday, 14th January, mock tests will no longer be included in our English, Maths, Science, and Exam Prep packages. While we've made these changes to our new customers' subscriptions, during this transition period, customers who subscribed prior to Tuesday, 14th January, will still be able to access Atom's mock tests.
This change means that you will no longer receive 2 mock test credits each month. Instead, we've added mock test credits to your account upfront.
To make sure all customers were aware of the changes, we emailed everyone on Friday, 10th January. We also displayed a banner on Atom Home as a reminder when the change was made.
I’m on a monthly plan. How will this impact me?
We’ve added 8 mock test credits to your account to support your family through this transition. These credits won’t expire, so you can use them at a time that works best for your family.
I’m on an annual plan. How will this impact me?
We’ve added all the remaining mock test credits for your subscription upfront. For example, if you have six months left on your annual plan, we’ll add 12 mock test credits to your account instead of the usual 2 per month. These credits won’t expire, so you can use them at a time that works best for you and your child.
Will I receive any additional mock test credits?
Once you’ve used the mock test credits in your account, you won’t receive any additional credits.

Maximising mock tests on Atom Home
The mock test credits we’ve added to your account won’t expire. You have the flexibility to use your credits whenever it’s most convenient for your child’s learning schedule.
From the Test page, you can:
- Set online tests for your child. You’ll find tests covering GL Assessment 11+, ISEB Common Pre-Tests, CEM Select, CAT4 Level B, C & D and Year 6 SATs.
- Download and print paper tests mirroring the exams used by your child’s target schools. Our admissions experts have carefully created our practice papers to replicate local exams (such as the Kent Test, Buckinghamshire Secondary Transfer Test or West Midlands Grammar Schools Entrance Test) and bespoke entrance exams set by individual schools.
Each time you set an online test for your child or download a paper test, your child will see a different set of questions based on the exam structure used by your target school.
After your child has completed their mock test, we recommend spending 10-15 minutes going through their results together. You can find everything you need to know about interpreting your child’s mock test results and standardised age scores (SAS) in our guides.
