Does Atom support with 13+ preparation?

Atom is designed to support students with Key Stage 2 learning and entrance examinations.

 

Atom is not designed for students in Year 7 or above. If your child is in Year 7 or above and meeting or exceeding expectations, Atom won't be challenging enough.

English, Maths, Science

Atom's English, maths and science content contains some early Year 7-level content.

This is to stretch and challenge Key Stage 2 students and those preparing for second stage 11+ examinations.

However, since the platform doesn't cover the full breadth of Key Stage 3 content, Atom isn't suitable for preparation for 13+ tests taken in English and maths - the content will be too easy.

Verbal and Non-verbal Reasoning

Atom's reasoning content and mock tests are suitable for students up to Year 8.

It's worth noting that you can only buy a subscription that includes all 4 subjects. Therefore, Atom will not provide you with everything you need for 13+ preparation.
