Homophones for the 11+

Please note that this list is not comprehensive, but displays a recommended selection of homophones for your child to be familiar with that often appear in verbal reasoning and vocabulary 11+ questions. 

Don’t forget that Atom’s experts recommend that students who are getting ready for entrance exams prepare by: 

• Working through the adaptive and tailored learning plan to master new skills and revise challenging content. 
• Complete 2 mock tests per month, increasing to 2 mock tests per week, 2 months before the exams. This will hone exam technique and equip your child with the skills needed to feel confident on the day. 
  
  

If you don’t currently have mock tests included in your subscription, you can upgrade by following these steps: 

• Sign in to your Atom Home account.
• Head to 'My Settings'.
• If you have more than one child on your account, select the child whose plan you want to change.
• Under Student settings, select [Child's name]'s subscription.
• Select Change plan, select 'Exam Prep Plus' and follow the on-screen steps.
