The "Set Work" function allows you to assign extra practices for your tutees. These can be used as part of a tuition session or as a follow-up activity for tutees to complete independently.

To assign a practice to your tutees' accounts, select the ‘Custom Practice’ option from the main dashboard under the ‘Set Work’ tab at the top of the screen. From here, you can select the student you wish to assign the practice to.
You can choose the subject, topic, subtopic, and the specific skill you wish your tutee to practise. You can customise your tutee’s practice session by changing the settings in step 4.
What are 'Test' and 'Tutor' mode?
Test Mode:
This will create a custom practice within test conditions by removing the learning resources: helpsheets, help videos, and question explanations. Therefore the practice is very much like a regular test where your tutee can only see how they have performed at the end. You may select this option if you want to assess your tutee’s performance independently in a topic, or towards the end of the academic year.
Tutor Mode:
When this mode is selected, the results of the practice are excluded from your tutee’s performance data. You may want to select this option if you are significantly supporting your tutee through the practice and you don’t want it to skew their performance data.
These are both optional. Not selecting either option will set an adaptive activity for your tutee to complete, giving them full access to our helpsheets and videos, as well as the ability to review their answers as they work through the questions.
When ready, click on 'Set Practice'. This custom practice session will now appear on your tutee’s Atom Nucleus 'To-do List' the next time they log in.
