How is my child's student score calculated?

Your child's student mastery score is out of 100, which is effectively a percentage. It shows the likelihood that your child would answer an average-difficulty question correctly.

The mastery score is calculated based on how many questions your child got right and how difficult those questions were. We provide this statistic because the platform is adaptive. This means we need to differentiate between two pupils who may both score 70%, but one answered mostly hard questions and the other mostly easy ones.
