What is the Student Score?
The student score is the likelihood that a student will be able to answer an average difficulty level question correctly, expressed as a percentage out of 100 (where 50% is the average). E.g. Sam has a score of 57.8 in English, therefore he has a 57.8% chance of getting an average-difficulty English question correct.
This statistic helps differentiate between two pupils who may have both got 70% of questions correct, but one may have seen harder questions and the other may have seen easier questions. The student score gives you a more accurate sense of a child’s understanding of an assignment as it takes into account both how many questions were answered correctly and how difficult those questions were.
