There are Atom Foundation mock tests available for each year group on the platform. If your child will be sitting an 11+ exam and you are looking to incorporate mock tests into your child's revision, we recommend using these.
The Atom Foundation mock tests are adaptive and based on your child's current year group curriculum. It will include the different topics they need to master in each subject. As these are adaptive mock tests, the level of difficulty will adjust throughout the test, based on how your child is performing. The test will get harder if your child is answering questions correctly, or will get easier if your child is answering them incorrectly. This mirrors real adaptive exams. It will ensure your child gets a representative experience and can build on their exam technique for this.
In Years 3 and 4, we recommend setting mock tests no more than once per term. This is an excellent way to benchmark your child's progress. It will highlight areas of strength and topics that may need further improvement. The majority of your child's time on the platform should be spent on the Learning Journeys and completing Custom Practices.
