National Offer Day results: How successful are Atom students?

Each March, families across the UK find out whether their child has received an offer from their chosen school. This article shares the outcomes reported by Atom families in 2026.

Atom’s 11+ success rate

Over the last three years, 87% of Atom students have received an offer from their top-choice school.

This year, 1,159 Atom families shared their results with us. Looking at the 2026 results specifically:

  • 83% of students received an offer from their top-choice school.
  • 91% success rate for independent school applicants
  • 75% success rate for grammar school applicants

For context, the national grammar school acceptance rate is around 20–30%. On Atom, it is 75%. Atom students are nearly four times more likely to earn a grammar school place than the average applicant.
